Hi Kailash,
All the branches of engineering are equally good and have tremendous job opportunities. It entirely depends on how well you understand and handle the stream and increase your scope of growth. Different branches of engineering are popular at different places and the popularity depends upon the day to day requirement of that place.

Thappar is a well reputated college and has been ranked 27 by MHRD Government while japeey is 60th. Even IT markets is full of competition and not performing well these days, so it should be from good college. Civil at Thappar will give you more expenditure and hefty package.You can even join PSUs after civil at Thappar.

It may be difficult to obtain admission under management quota since TANCET is 43.5 and have three history of arrears. SSN fee structure is same for management quota and government quota.
