The NEET UG Counselling 2025 provisional allotment result for round 3 has been released for admission to MBBS and BDS courses.
The CMAT 2026 registration has started for admission to the MBA, PGDM, and MMS courses. The deadline for registration is Nov 17, 2025, and the exam date is yet to be released.
The CUET PG 2026 registration process for admission to PG courses is expected to begin in Jan 2026.
The CUET UG 2026 registration window is expected to open in the first week of Mar 2026 for admission to UG courses.
The NIMCET 2026 application process for admission to the MCA course is projected to commence in March 2026.

For most of the courses, IPU course admission is entrance-based. Before applying to a course, aspirants must check out the course-specific eligibility requirements. The university conducts IPU CET for admission to various courses. Candidates seeking admission to GGSIPU UG, PG and PhD courses must follow the steps given below:

IPU application process 2025 for all the affiliated institutes is conducted through a centralised application portal, which is directly accessible from the official website of GGSIPU. Visit www.ipu.ac.in and click on the 'Admission Now' button:

STEP 1: Register for Counselling

STEP 4: Allocation of Seats

After choice filling, seats are allotted to the candidates based on merit, respective category and region.

For the open house counselling, the candidate must produce eligibility criteria (including all documents/mark sheets) at the time of counselling. This may vary for some courses.

IPU Reservation Criteria 2025

The university offers seat reservations for admission to USS/affiliated government institutions and affiliated self-financing colleges other than minority institutes. Further, the IPU seat reservation for some of the categories is mentioned in the table given below:

IPU MBA Admission 2025

GGSIPU MBA course is offered under five specialisations. For admission to IPU MBA in IT, the university conducts IPU CET, followed by a University-level counselling process. In addition, for other specialisations, the candidate's CAT score is accepted for admission. However, if the seats remain vacant after counselling on the basis of the CAT score, then counselling is conducted on the basis of the CMAT score. In case seats remain vacant, IPU conducts a Common Entrance Test (CET) to fill up the remaining seats.

IPU MCA Admission 2025

GGSIPU offers two-year MCA courses. It is a full-time course. IPU MCA course admission is based on merit in NIMCET. If the seats are left vacant after counselling, admission to MCA and MCA (Lateral Entry) courses is granted on the basis of merit in IPU CET/CUET-PG. Q: How to apply for MCA at IP University?

For Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University MCA admission, candidates need to appear for the NIMCET entrance test. IP University MCA (lateral) entry admission is based on the IPU CET entrance test. In case of vacant seats after counselling, GGSIPU will consider Common Entrance Test (CET), conducted by GGSIP University for MCA admission. Walking you through ADGIPS.

Placements: Among an academic batch, about 70-80% students get placed in good companies from here. But the average package varies from around 5 LPA to 7 LPA in reputed tech companies. The highest so far has been 84 LPA which is Amazon as the recruiter, and the lowest is about 3.5 LPA. Top companies visiting the campus are Microsoft, HCL, Google, Amazon, IBM, Newgen, and many more. There are not many internship details officially but internships are offered on campus by the college such as IBM and Learnovate which are mainly paid internships. Students seek off-campus internships and grab good packages here.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Buildings are old style but that also gives it a vintage touch and brings beauty to the campus. It is spread across a large area which lush green and has nice vibes all around. All facilities are up to the mark and provide good services. But classrooms here do not have AC which is a big problem in summer and becomes difficult to focus. Library is well-equipped with all the required books. Hostels are not available here. Canteen, sports, etc., are all good.

Faculty: Faculty members are great. They are very supportive and lenient towards everything. They provide solutions to problems as asked. Every faculty member I met is polite, respectful, and understands problems in every aspect, be it attendance, marks, or assignments. Teaching quality is okay but could be better as classrooms have no AC and no smart board, only a chalkboard which makes it a bit traditional. Course curriculum is apt and makes it relevant to the course's needs and motive and teaches placement-oriented things only. Semester exams are of average difficulty, i.e., even average students can easily pass as teachers are also lenient.

Other: I chose this course because I like tech field in general and it's flexibility that it provides. Events and fests are not really conducted much but they are still there. Annual technical fests and cultural fests are conducted along with some other events throughout the year. There are many societies for each interest, and you can join to grow as an individual. Campus is really pretty but the area is unsafe as it is a bit far from the main road and inside a locality.

Other: I have this choice because I want to pursue software engineering, and I am interested in the computer field. Coding in our college makes for better events, and it's not there only study.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is not very good, but it is usable for us to work in college for our assignments assigned to us by the faculty members. The research papers and thesis for our project we get from our colleges are a lot, so whenever we get time, we visit the library for reference.

Faculty: All our faculty teachers are helpful. During our exams, they provide us with various notes and also during internships, college provide us with best place services which we can avail in every way. Other: I chose this course for its strong management focus and good placements. The best parts are supportive faculty, industry-relevant curriculum, and exposure through seminars and workshops. Improvements could be stronger industry tie-ups and better campus Wi-Fi. The campus has cultural/management events, sports, and student clubs.

GGSIPU has given weightage to both theory and practical UG and PG courses. Students need to secure a minimum of 75% in semester theory exam for UG courses and 60% for PG programmes.
