Hindustan College of Engineering and Technology does not have any such provison in which the students can get admission without going through entrance test of TNEA. One needs to attempt TNEA if he/she aims to take admission in Hindustan College of Engineering and Technology's B.Tech course. But, yes for other courses like MBA/PGDM its TANCET MBA which is required. Also, for MCA its graduation with 50 percent along with TANCET which is mandatory.

To be eligible for B.Tech at Hindustan College of Engineering and Technology, the following criteira is mandate.  One must be of Science background and must have physics, maths and chemistry in their 11th and 12th. Yes, Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology accepts national level entrance test. HITSEEE and HITSCAT  are the two of its own test conducted for all the UG and PG courses in Hindusthan College.  The B.Tech test takes place in two phases. Generally student's aptitude is checked through such entrance test. After clearing the test there's a GD and personal interview of the students who have successfully cleared it.
