Several funding opportunities are available to students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Acadia University spends about CAD four million annually on scholarships and bursaries for its students. Several external scholarship schemes are also available for international students.

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria for Indian Students

For Indian students to be eligible for an internal scholarship from Acadia University, the student must have secured at least 55% in the past coursework, while a score of 60% is a must to meet the eligibility criteria for external funding.

All applications need to be supported by official copies of all high school or college transcripts and other records of academic work. The transcripts should be certified by the school/college/institution and should either be sent to Acadia directly or sealed in an envelope and given to the student to send. Certified transcripts acceptable to Acadia will be used as a basis of admission. English proficiency report and other standardized exam score reports also need to be attached with the application form. A candidate will most likely be accepted into any graduate program in Canada with a 3.75 GPA from UNB. PhD in Civil Engineering faculty offers four and five-year bachelor's programs as well as cooperative education.

There are two ways to book your room at these residences. International students can book the room either directly through the on-campus residences or through TRU World. To book the room international applicant must do the following. 

• Pay the full residence fees to TRU (same account used to pay your tuition fees)
• Full fees = CAD 100 application fee + CAD 150 damage deposit (refundable) + CAD 150 housing processing fee + residence fees
• TRU does not process any requests or hold a spot if you make only partial payments
• Do not send partial payments to TRU if applying directly to the residences
