The admission requirements for MacEwan University's psychiatric nursing programme vary depending on the programme and year of intake. 
The minimum entry GPA for the psychiatric nursing programme is normally about 2.7 on a 4.0 scale.

UG requirements:

• Indian students must be 18 years old at the time of commencement of a course. The students are required to submit one of the following certificates for admission:

1. State Higher Secondary Certification by a State Board of Higher Secondary Education.

2. Secondary Education Certificate from CBSE Board.

3. Delhi Senior School Certificate.

4. Indian School Certificate by ICSE Board.

5. Applicants must also submit the minimum english langauge requirements.

6.  Students are also required to submit their Grade 10 exam scores, Grade 11 final mark sheet, and predicted or mid-year Grade 12 results.

7. For applicants who are currently in-progress,   they must alsosubmit:

1. X level exam scores,
   XI level final mark sheet, and
   Mid-year or predicated XII results.

• Grade requirement: 50/100, 5/10 (second class/second division

PG Requirements:

• A four-year undergraduate degree from a recognised university or equivalent with a minimum average grade of 70 % (B average).

• Some courses (MBA) may require GMAT* or GRE scores.
