Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses are offered by Frankfurt University. The courses are mostly taught in German at this university. Some of the Master's degree courses that are available are MA, MSc, LLM, MBA. At the UG level, a few of the courses that are offered include BA, BEng, BSc. The duration of Bachelor's courses is 6-7 semesters, whereas, that of PG courses is 3-4 semesters.

There is one Sports Centre at the Uni of Passau which has a number of indoor and outdoor facilities. There are 40+ sports in which they can take part such as table tennis, exercise classes, yoga, rowing, etc. Indoor facilities at this centre include two sports halls, an indoor climbing wall and a workout area. Outdoor facilities include running tracks, football field, baskteball courts, etc.

The University of Passau MSc Artificial Intelligence Engineering course spans 4 semesters. The course starts in April and October and the language of instruction of this course is English. This course will allow students to deal with scientific theories, algorithms, and methods of designing and developing AI-based systems. To take admission to this course, the applicants should have an UG degree in Computer Science. or Mathematics with 2.7 or better

There is no tuition fee at Passau University. But, students need to pay the living expenses and monthly expenses will be as follows: 

  • Housing: Euros 300 - 500
  • Food / groceries: Euros 200 - 300
  • Transportation: Euros 35 - 50
  • Books and other purchases: Euros 50 - 100
  • Health insurance: Euros 115 - 150

Deutschlandstipendium Scholarship at the Uni of Passau is available to all students, regardless of the citizenship. This scholarship is of one year and students can re-apply in the subsequent years. The value of this scholarship is EUR 300 per month (Around INR 30k). This is for the students who have showcased strong social commitment to handle the situations in their life, on top of the academic performance.
