However, according to the overall 3-year placement report, the average package offered during the placement drive in 2023 was INR 4.50 LPA. Other than that, the placement rate noted in the recent past is 94.5%.

Royal Global University (RGU Guwahati) and Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU) offer full-time BCom courses at the UG level. Both the institutes are situated in Assam. The total tuition fee for BCom at RGU Guwahati ranges from INR 4.2 Lacs to INR 6.52 Lakh. On the other hand, the total tuition fee for BCom at ADBU is INR 2.1 lakh. Clearly, the latter is more economical for pursuing a BCom. It must be noted that the mentioned fees are sourced from the official website of the institutes/sanctioning bodies. Gauhati University's LL.B. intake is based on the merit of the entrance exam and fulfilling all the eligibility criteria. Detailed cutoffs for 2024 have not been declared as yet as they differ each year according to the candidates and seats available. The University Law College provides 120 seats for the 3-year LL.B. course. The admission criteria for the BBA program at NERIM are based on merit, determined by the candidate's performance in their 10+2 examinations. Candidates who meet the entry test requirements must have passed their 10+2 exams with a minimum of 50% marks for the open category and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates. Most courses offered by the university follow an online application process, and applicants are required to submit a demand draft of INR 750 as the application fee. While the institute accepts students who have taken CAT/MAT exams, these are not mandatory for admission to the BBA program.

The university also offers a BSc programme at the UG level. Selection for BSc in Biotechnology, Critical & Intensive Care Technology, Microbiology, Dialysis Technology, and Operation Theatre Technology is based on the TJEE cutoff. The authorities have not released the latest ADTU BSc TJEE cutoff 2024. However, as per the 2022 TJEE cutoff report, the competitive closing rank of BSc in Microbiology stood at 1068 for the General All-India category.

Candidates seeking M.Tech admission at IIIT Guwahati are required to apply with a valid GATE score. However, merely having a valid entrance test score does not guarantee admission.
