Assam Down Town University is not approved for the B.Sc. course in Agriculture by the ICAR. Although ADTU has a recognition from University Grants Commission and All India Council for Technical Education, yet the university is still not recognized by ICAR to take the agricultural course. If ICAR recognition is a requirement for you, then you can consider some other institutions that have their courses approved by ICAR; some of these are Assam Agricultural University or Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, which offer B.Sc. in Agriculture and get recognized by ICAR.

Royal Global University (RGU Guwahati) and Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU) offer full-time BCom courses at the UG level. Both the institutes are situated in Assam.
