IIT, Kharagpur is a great place to live and learn.

Placements: The placements are good at IIT, Kharagpur. Being one of the finest institutions, it provides placements to all the students on the campus. The companies like Microsoft, Apple, and Google visited the campus for placements. Students may opt for core and non-core jobs as both have a very great scope in IIT, Kharagpur.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Nalanda complex, in which classrooms were newly built, is great. The whole campus is enabled with Wi-Fi. The library is great. BC Roy hospital provides a fine level of medication to all the students. Ramanujan complex serves great lab facilities. CIC consists of computer labs, and JC Bose laboratory has electrical engineering labs. Sports facilities here are too good. Olympic size swimming pool, good gym facilities, and a huge ground which is equivalent to three football an...

Our college provides very good facilities and placements.

Placements: Nearly 95% of the CSE students got placements. The highest salary package offered was around 35 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are Google and Flipkart. Almost all the students got internships. Core companies offer most of the placements. Some of the people who are interested in data analytics and web development choose their paths.

Infrastructure: The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled with nearly 10 Mbps. The infrastructure of the hostels is old, but i...

Placements and infrastructure in IIT, Kharagpur have been improved.

Placements: Around 83.5% of the students got placed through on-campus placements in a month, and the rest got placed in the next month or they might have already received PPOs. Core branches like EE, ME and chemical engineering witnessed an increase in placements with increased packages. Simultaneously, non-core placements have also increased tremendously with lucrative packages and job opportunities.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is well planned. It is obsolete but replenishing. The campus has spacious ...

The review of IIT, Kharagpur by Pravesh Jain.

Placements: The average package is about 22 LPA for B.Tech course, which increases to about 27 LPA, if you are a dual degree student. Many companies such as Microsoft, Google, and Schlumberger come to the campus for the placement. The other big names are also easily found on the campus.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is awesome with all kinds of labs. Everyone in the campus is provided with the sufficient amount of technology. There is the 24 hours internet service with no upper cap, and the speed is average, which is 1...

Review of IIT Kharagpur - Indian Institute of Technology.

Placements: Our college provides pretty good placements in general. Almost 90% of the students got placed from college. But comparing to the benchmark of CS programs in older IITs, the placements were average. So I give it 4 stars. Most of the offers were received from Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Microsoft, Adobe, DE Shaw, and Mercari. Top roles offered were as a software engineer and tech analyst.

Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure was pretty good. We had great labs and classrooms, as good as any university. But hostel...

There are many option for you , firstly you have to decide your goal and then go for it. If you want engineering you must drop a year for IIT only and study hard for it.
Thank you.
