IIIT Guwahati BTech seats are filled by the Joint Seat Allocation Seat (JoSAA) after qualifying the JEE Main exam. The counselling body doesn't have any registrtaion fee, the filling-in of choices on the online portal is free of cost. However, candidates might have pay the seat acceptance fee . The documents uploaded by the candidate will not be verified unless the candidate pays the seat acceptance fee. General/Open category candidates are required to pay a fee of INR 35,000, whereas SC, Gen-PwD, ST, OBC-NCL-PwD, ST-PwD, and SC-PwD have to pay INR15,000 through e-challan or through SBI net banking.
