MBA students are not eligible for a 100% scholarship at the North Eastern Regional Institute of Management (NERIM) in Guwahati.But financial aid and scholarships are offered by the university, they are partial and awarded on the basis of need and merit basis. In order to be admitted into the North Eastern Regional Institute of Management's (NERIM) MCA program, you must:

-> A bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST students).

-> To have completed your Bachelor's degree or your 10+2 coursework in mathematics.

->To succeed on the NERIM admission test.

The North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh admits 30 students to its two-year, part time MBA programme and the total fees for that would be around INR 1.5L and 240 seats are available for full time MBA programme and the fees would be around  INR 3.4L.

Candidates with BTech or BE/ MCA/ MSc/ Graduation (AMIETE) with 60% aggregate or 6.0 CPI are eligible for the M.Tech in IIT Guwahati. Further, there is 0.5% CPI or 5% marks relaxation for SC/ST/PwD category candidates. Candidates must also have valid score in the national level exam GATE exam and they must also participated in the COAP Counselling (GATE not required for the sponsored category). 

If you belong to the General AI category, you would need to secure a rank of at least 78 according to the IIT Guwahati BDes cutoff 2026. For other categories, students can check the list below:

• ST: 16
• PWD: 2
• EWS: 16

I don't think so, as studying abroad may cost you a lot, and you know IIT's are one of the best in the world, so I think you should think again about it. The placements at IIT Guwahati are great as well. The highest domestic package offered during IIT Guwahati placements 2023 was INR 1.20 crore per annum, and the highest international package stood at INR 2.40 crore per annum. 

IIT Guwahati has a seat intake of 114 for the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) specialisation offered under the BTech programme. This seat intake has been derived from the official website of JoSAA. At the time of counselling, candidates are admitted based on their rank in JEE Advanced and in accordance with the seat intake and the reservation policies.
