According to a reviewer on Shiksha (PEDADA RAKESH,  B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Batch of 2028). NIT Nagaland is a great college with good faculty. Top roles offered are System Engineer Data Analytics, Electrical Engineer, etc. The has best infrastructure facilities. They contain Wi-Fi beautiful library and clean classrooms. The food in our hostel is really hygienic and healthy. The curriculum is also very relevant and it makes the students industry ready.

Yes, NIT Nagaland is worth attending. It is among the top institutes for engineering courses. The institute is approved by UGC and AICTE. It was ranked 101-150 by NIRF 2024 for Engineering. The highest package offered during 2024 placements for BTech was INR 13.95 LPA. The recruiters that took part in the placements are Publicis Sapient, Samsung, Jio Infocomm, Schlumberger, Straive, Oracle, Zuora, Eaton, etc.

Yes, admissions are open at NIT Nagaland. admission process is entrance-based. Admissions are offered on the basis of the scores in the exams like JEE Main, GATE, IIT JAM, etc.

Yes, 13K is a good rank in JEE Main for admission at NIT Nagaland, if you belong to the General AI category. This category had the first and last round cutoff ranging from 32418 to 111764 in the last round. Hence, admission with a 13K rank is possible for the General AI category candidates; other categories will have different qualifying cutoffs.

NIT Nagaland JEE Main cutoff 2025 for the CSE course was released for admission for all rounds and categories under the All India quota. 

For the General AI category, the cutoff in the first round was 32418, and in the last round, it was 56055. On the other hand, for the OBC AI quota, the cutoff in the first and last rounds ranged from 10142 to 60217. Students can see the table below to know the first and last round data for all other AI categories.

No, you can not get into NIT Nagaland's BTech programme without having appeared in JEE Mains. The main selection criteria of the course is scores obtained in the JEE Mains exam only, hence, admission without it is not possible. Participating in the JoSAA counselling is also necessary.

NIT Nagaland JEE Main cutoff 2025 has been released for round 1. The cutoff was released for candidates belonging to the All India quota. Among the General AI category candidates, the closing ranks in round 1 varied between 32418 and 52097. Among the OBC AI category candidates, the cutoff ranks varied between 10142 and 15994. Apart from General and OBC category, the cutoff was released for SC, ST, and other categories. Candidates can check all the information for NIT Nagaland JEE Main cutoff here.
