Not so good placement for civil, but worth it for a good college experience and healthy environment.
Placements: Placement is not that good. For civil, it's very low—around INR 5 lpa, which is very low. In other branches, it's almost the same as in other NITs. It's improving every year, so I'm just hoping civil gets higher too. Many companies, such as Johnson, Infosys, etc., visit.
Infrastructure: The hostels are very good. The mess is good. It's improving every year based on our ratings. Libraries and classrooms could get better. There's room for more improvement. We have bamboo classrooms for now for the civil departments. More department construction is underway.
Faculty: The teachers were good. I especially like the math teacher, though he takes too many extra classes. The exam questions are fine enough, like any other NIT. Just pray you don't get backlogged because they make it so difficult to pass. You might end up with backlogs until the sixth semester if you fail in the first semester.
Other: The campus is wonderful. It is very beautiful, with mountains and hills. Friendly environment, and lots of events are organized. We have lots of competitions and events, including cosplays (for anime fans, you'd love it).

4Placements3Infrastructure3Faculty2Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Our college placements are excellent and CSE is excellent.
Placements: In our college, almost 10% of students are placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 19 LPA in the IT sector. On the core side, there is very little hope. The highest salary package offered is 6.5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like L&T, Pie Infocomm, JSW, etc., visit our campus. Almost 10% of students get internships at IBM and Pie Infocomm. Top roles offered are software developer and site manager.
Infrastructure: Our college Wi-Fi is slow and labs are excellent. Our classrooms are better and the library is somewhat small. Hostels and the food served are not good. The canteen is not good and there are no proper grounds. The medical team is excellent, but the facilities are inadequate.
Faculty: Some teachers are excellent and some are better. Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Semester exams are difficult but starting with the 5th semester, the syllabus is good for civil engineers.
Other: Our teachers are more experienced. Our lab is very large and expensive. It is good to be a good civil engineer but there are no proper placements. The lectures are not good. We need to change. Everything is excellent, but everything will happen with a low budget.

Hi Neinuo, It is very difficult to get in NIT with this score. Because, the cut offs for NITs go very high every year. There is a quota for residents of the same state in that NIT. You can try.
