Swameeka MedhiMBA and Study Abroad Counsellor

Contributor-Level 10

Hi Kumar,
If your degree granting institution is accredited by UGC-DEC or NAAC , universities abroad will accept your degree. Your degree and institution must be accredited and recognized. Also, for MBA you must have prior work experience and there is no MCA abroad. You can pursue MS in a relevant field. Hope this helped.

You can go for MBA as it is a professional qualification and will help you get a good career. Otherwise, if you want to join academics, you can also go for MA and then qualify UGC- NET.
After MBA also, you can opt for corporate or academics as you wish. MBA will also make you eligible for specialist officers exam in banks and other public sector enterprises like NTPC, BHEL,etc.

Hi Badal,
I would suggest you to gain professional experience before venturing. If you look at most of the start-up founders, they had professional experience before they set their own firm.
If you have an idea that you think would do wonders, then atleast work with a start-up for some time (intern or full time - 6months) to know how things work in a start-up.
A management degree from top notch institution would assist in a big way. You have to work hard for CAT, GMAT as your scores in the BE, 12th and 10th aren't great.
If you need any assistance, I would be more than happy to help.
