I haven't seen anything like this in any of the university's criteria; "Honours degree is mandatory". For abroad, I don't think Honours degree is required. Because many of the college (Yale, Princeton etc.). Do accepts student from all backgrounds. However you need to check the duration of graduation. University like Harvard, Stanford requires you to have 4 years of graduation for MBA or MS programme. Hope this helps.

It is very nice to hear from you that you are interested in doing your MS from Australia. Do not worry too much about universities with low fees. Firstly aim should be securing admission. Admissions to MS abroad are not fully dependent on the marks obtained in qualifying exam but there are many nuances to the process. In view of this I would like to advise you that please approach an agency sending students to Australia for MS. They would be knowing how to take care of these nuances. Best wishes to you for admission in MS.

Bachelors in Architecture course trains you to design spaces. Architecture is an art, Science and practice of designing and constructing buildings. It is both, the process and product of Planning, Designing and Construction of a space. It requires manipulation and co-ordination of material, technology, light and shadow. Whereas Civil engineering is trains you more about site execution.
