No, it is not necessary to have B.Tech or B.E degree to qualify for an IAF pilot. You have to pass 12th grade with compulsory physics and mathematics. You can join NDA directly after passing 12th. However, for other courses like CDSE, NCC and AFCAT then you have to complete graduation.
