Hi Pratik, it can be regarded as compulsory since German universities are very academic and competitive. If you have lower percentile admissions will be difficult and you will need outstanding projects, publications etc. And anything that can balance your profile.

You can do any kind of Diploma course, but you are not eligible for any Bachelor's degree, whether it is regular either correspondence.

Listen, first of all, if you want to get admission in above mentioned colleges, you score in class 10th and class 12th and graduation will not be considered at all. All you need is to clear CAT with at least 98 percentile to get admission in these colleges.
