Yes, candidates must follow the exam pattern for CEED. This is because the exam pattern will guide the candidate on how to prepare for the exam.
Part A will include NAT, MCQ, MSQ-type questions. These questions will require the candidate to select a correct answer option. So, instead of practising how to write long, elaborative answers, the candidate must build the skill to quickly solve the problem and find the solution.
On the other hand, Part B will include subjective-type questions. In these types of questions, the examiner doesn't simply want an answer, but also wants to see how you arrived at the answer!

Part A of the CEED question paper will include three types of questions, NAT, MCQ and MSQ. The number of questions per question type and marking scheme is given in the table below.

CEED exam has two sections Part A and Part B. Part A will be conducted in online mode and Part B will be conducted offline. Part A will have three sections, NAT, MCQ and MSQ. Part B will include drawing based questions only. Part A is of 150 marks and Part B is of 100 marks.

The National Institute of Design (NID) conducts NID Counselling for admission to BDes and MDes programmes. Firstly, NID declares MDes results on the official website. NID Ahmedabad cutoff to BDes and MDes courses is based on NID DAT followed by counselling. The Open rank for BDes for NID Ahmedabad cutoff 2024 offered through NID DAT is estimated to be around 47, with a cutoff score of 65.8. For MDes, candidates must have around 80 - 95.4 score in NID DAT for NID Ahmedabad admission.
The aforementioned score and cutoff are anticipated on the basis of previous year trends for Open category students for a total seat of 144.

NIFT is not only one of the most competitive entrance exams in the country, with a large number of applicants, but it is also among the toughest. The syllabus for the NIFT 2024 exam is quite vast, and most of the questions can range from medium to difficult.
