Design Entrance Exam

The National Institute of Fashion Technology Srinagar accepts NIFT entrance test scores for admission to design courses at the UG and PG levels. NIFT Srinagar cutoff 2024 was released upto Round 5 wherein the B.Des closing ranks ranged between 3006 and 4095 for the General AI category candidates. So, candidates seeking admission at NIFT Srinagar must secure a rank upto 4095 to be eligible for B.Des course. 

Tabulated below is the NIFT Srinagar B.Des cutoff 2024 for the students belonging to the General AI category. 

NIFT Raebareli cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the BFTech course among others for various All India categories. For the General AI category, the maximum rank allowed was 4494 for this category and course. Students can refer to the pointers below to know the maximum rank for other categories.

• OBC: 3131
• ST: 3120

The rank needed for BDes course admission at NIFT Raebareli depends entirely on which category u belong to. For the General AI category, students need a rank of at least 4494 or below to be eligible for admission. Please know that other categories will have different qualifying cutoffs accordingly. The National Institute of Fashion Technology Kannur accepts NIFT entrance exam for admission to the B.Des course. NIFT cutoff 2023 was concluded for the academic year 2023-24. As per the NIFT Kannur cutoff 2023, the last round closing rank for B.Des was 1279 for the General category students for the All India quota. For 2022 and 2021, NIFT Kannur last round closing ranks for B.Des stood at 1631 and 1666. 

Candidates can refer to the table given below to check out the NIFT Kannur cutoff 2023 for B.Des course for the General All India category students: 

 As per NIFT Kangra second round cutoff 2026, the total range is between 238 and 2908. So those students, who have scored a rank in this range and come under the General AI category, are eligible for admission.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) takes the NIFT entrance exam scores into consideration, followed by the NIFT Counselling procedure for admission in the BDes program.

Note: For other categories/quotas/courses, etc., the cutoff will be different.

CEED 2024 has eight participating colleges - IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee, and IIT Jodhpur. These institutes will consider CEED 2024 merit ranks for admission to the M.Des program.

However, they will or may also conduct further admission rounds, including personal interviews, to preparare the final merit list. The details of the admission process can be downloaded from the admission portal of the participating institute.

Further, note that the admission process may vary from one participating college to another. 

There are multiple benefits of solving sample papers of CEED. Some of them are given below:

• The sample papers will contain questions similar to the ones that will be asked in the CEE exam. Or in other words, they will cover the same topics, weightage, and difficulty level.

• Sample papers are useful for improving one's problem-solving and time-management skills.

• Question papers, meanwhile, will allow the candidate to check the types of questions asked in the previous edition of the exam, any specific trend followed, weightage given to various sections, etc.

• Concept building is another area that can be honed by solving sample papers.
