Design Entrance Exam

The candidate will not be provided with any stationery at the exam venue. So, it is incumbent the candidates themselves bring these essential stationery items with them.

Here are the basic minimum stationery items needed to take the CEED 2026 exam.

• Pens

• Pencils

• Sketch pens 

• Colours for the examination

However, note that sheets are not allowed inside the exam hall. 

The application form for CEED 2026 is closed now.

When filling form, the candidate should compulsorily choose THREE cities in the order of preference. There is no option to select an exam centre when filling out the form. Candidate can only select an exam city. 

IIT Bombay will release the exam cities for CEED 2026. The list can be found in the CEED 2026 Information Brochure. In the previous edition, the design entrance exam was held in 27 cities.

Note that exam officials have the authority to drop a city in some cases.

“If a sufficient number of candidates are unavailable in a city, that city may be dropped from the final list, and candidates will be allotted to a city of their second or third choice.”

NIFT Srinagar cutoff 2023 for B.Des in Fashion Communication was 3701 for the General All India category student. For 2022 and 2021, the last round closing rank stood at 4264 and 2544, respectively for B.Des in Fashion Communication. The National Institute of Fashion Technology Srinagar accepts NIFT entrance test scores for admission to design courses at the UG and PG levels. NIFT Srinagar cutoff 2024 was released upto Round 5 wherein the B.Des closing ranks ranged between 3006 and 4095 for the General AI category candidates. So, candidates seeking admission at NIFT Srinagar must secure a rank upto 4095 to be eligible for B.Des course.

NIFT Raebareli cutoff 2023 has been released for all the courses. As per Raebareli NIFT cutoff 2023, the last round closing rank for B.FTech was 901 for the General All India category student. 

NIFT Raebareli offers B.Des, MFM and B.FTech. in Apparel Production courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. NIFT Raebareli Admission to all these courses is based on NIFT Entrance exam scores, followed by the NIFT Counselling process. Only candidates with a valid cutoff are allowed to participate in the further counselling process.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology Raebareli accepts NIFT Entrance exam scores for admission to the B.Des course. As per NIFT cutoff 2024 for the last round, the closing rank for the B.Des course ranged between 1808 and 3691 for the General All India category student. So, students seeking admission to NIFT Raebareli must secure a rank up to 3691 to be eligible for B.Des course.

B.Des. National Institute of Fashion Technology, Haryana accepts NIFT entrance exam score for admisison to the B.Des course. Based on the entrance test score, candidates are then called for the NIFT counselling process for final admission. As per the NIFT Panchkula cutoff 2024, the last round closing cutoff rank for B.Des course was ranged between 1915 and 2220, for the General All India category students for the All India quota.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology Kannur accepts NIFT entrance exam for admission to the B.Des course. NIFT cutoff 2023 was concluded for the academic year 2023-24. As per the NIFT Kannur cutoff 2023, the last round closing rank for B.Des was 1279 for the General category students for the All India quota. For 2022 and 2021, NIFT Kannur last round closing ranks for B.Des stood at 1631 and 1666.

National Institute of Fashion Technology accepts NIFT entracne exam scores, followed by NIFT Counselling process for admission to the B.Des courses. As per the NIFT Kangra cutoff 2024, the last round closing ranks for B.Des ranged between 1346 and 3277 for the General All India category students. So, considering the last round closing ranks, candidates must secure a rank up to 3277 to get a seat in NIFT Kangra for B.Des admission.
