I was in a similar situation after completing my 12th. I was from an arts background and wanted to get into designing, but I was honestly confused about which college to choose in Delhi.

I ended up exploring different options and eventually chose AAFT Online for a design-focused course. What I liked was that I could learn from home while still getting exposure to practical concepts and industry-oriented learning.

One thing I'd suggest is not choosing a college only because it's popular. Check the course syllabus, faculty, practical projects, portfolio opportunities and placement support. Your portfolio matters a lot in design, sometimes more than the college name itself.

I'd also visit a few campuses and talk to current students before making the final decision. That helped me avoid choosing something just because it looked good online.

Honestly depends on which area of design you're drawn to, fashion, graphic, interior, UI/UX, they're pretty different fields even though they all fall under "design."

But if you're unsure like I was, a shorter Diploma or certificate course first can help you explore before committing to something longer.

Either way, try to see actual portfolios or coursework from the specific programme you're considering, design courses vary a lot in quality and practical exposure, don't just go by the course name alone.
