Nift has a centralised placement process. Companies can opt for on-campus placements by registering for Nift Patna placements or companies can offer jobs to students before the on-campus placements, this is known as pre-placements offer (PPO). Nift Patna offers a good package in B.Tech. Its placement rate is 75-80% of students got placed. the highest package offered was INR 4.5 LPA. Notable companies participating in the placement drive included Mantra, Levi's Aditya Birla Group, RIL, and Shahi Exports.
