Clinical Psychologists can do PhD in Psychology, same like in many other countries. But using “Dr” for clinical psychologists in India is not always same.

Some clinical psychologists in India use “Dr” if they have PhD in Psychology.

The rules for title can be different depending on what person wants, college they work, and local rules. It's important to check a psychologist's papers and qualifications before seeing them.

No, a post basic BSc Nursing programme doesn't directly qualify you to become a medical doctor (MD or MBBS) since these are distinct professions with different educational paths and scopes of practice.

However, post basic BSc Nursing does offer advanced knowledge and skills in Nursing, enabling nurses to specialize in various areas of healthcare, assume leadership roles, or pursue higher education in nursing or related fields. If your goal is to become a medical doctor, you'll typically need to follow the specific educational path required for medicine.

No, in India, individuals who have completed a B Optom course are not typically entitled to use the title "Doctor" or prefix "Dr." before their names, as the B Optom degree is not a doctoral-level qualification. An eye doctor is called an Ophthalmologist or even an Optometrist, it all depends on their level of training and specialization.

An ophthalmologist is a medical doctor (MD or D.O.) who has expertise in the medical and surgical care of the eyes. But, an optometrist is a healthcare professional who is trained to provide primary eye care services such as performing eye exams or prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses.
