There is not much relation in between the syllabus of class 11th- class 12th with engineering. But all the basics in 1st year is from class 11th- class 12th. After first year, it is total different pattern. For your interest, if you love physics then choose electrical. If your interest is in Maths and chemistry, then go for mechanical. If you want to start your career as a programmer, then choose CS/IT.

Actually, there is nothing like better and best. It all depends on your interests and personality. Basically, IT is mostly related to computers, and it also has some basics in ECE. If you want to pursue a good career in the coding and software fields, you can choose IT. ECE is a subjective branch where you can learn a lot about devices and their functionalities. Well, according to me, the list should be something like this:
NIT-Trichy
NIT-Surathkal
NIT-Warangal
MNNIT-Allahabad
MNIT-Jaipur /NIT-Calicut
SVNIT-Surat / NIT-Nagpur
MANIT-Bhopal / NIT-Kurukshetra / NIT-Rourkela
NIT-Durgapur / NIT-Jamshedpur
NIT-Jalandhar (Estd. 1987)/ NIT-Delhi ( Estd. 2010)
NIT-Raipur/ NIT-Hamirpur (Estd 1986)
These are the NITs which were RECs / RITs (Regional engineering College/ Regional Institute of Technology) before. And were established in early 1960s (unless otherwise mentioned). They have better alumni base and infrastructure as compared to newer ones. I have kept NIT Delhi here in this list because of its closing ran

First of all, make your mind whether you're going to pursue CSE or ECE because the most important decision is choice of the branch. If you are good in coding then go for CSE in MIT else go for ECE in VIT.

It's not comparing between those because both branch is good for you by more expensive jobs. ECE branch containing hardware as well as little bit software part but EEE branch is full of electronic study. So my suggestion is to be go through the ECE.

With your marks, you'll not be able to get into GSITS with any of the branches as minimum you need is 145 with IP branch to get into it. You can only try in college level counselling which occurs to fill the vacant seats after JOSAA.
