ECE degree has wide scope as ECE engineering graduates can be employed by electronics, telecommunications and IT industries. Aeronautical engineering is a niche branch with limited scope on aviation. Both, ECE and aeronautical engineering branches are highly technical and full of innovation.
You can chose any based on your interests. You can also do B.Tech in ECE followed by M.Tech in aeronautical engineering with specialization in avionics.

In my opinion, electronics and communication engineering is better because it has utility in wider range of sectors from IT industry to manufacturing plants. As technology is changing at a great pace, most of the innovations and technology changes are in digital world and communication networks.
On the flip side, petroleum engineering has a concentrated scope of work. Though, incentives and pay of work is more as compared to other fields. Even change of field is easier in EC as compared to PE.

Both are good streams of electronics and communication, if you are interested in computer applications like Big Data/SAP/ERP solutions mainly used in IT industries. Also computer applications which are used in circuit designing and robotics.
If your field of interest is mobile and cellular communication than telecommunication is good field. As 4G is already in use in India and there is continuous advancement in India for 5G, 6G and advanced technologies. Still there is a great opportunity in this field.
