Hello Aftab,
As you have completed B.Tech in ECE, you can appear for GATE in ECE branch. The students who have completed B.Tech in computer science, information technology or software engineering can appear for CSE in GATE 2017.

Canada, US Germany and Australia are the popular countries. You can also check any academic ranking table like QS world ranking for university ranking.

Manipal Institute of Technology is an excellent option for doing B.Tech in ECE for those who are unable to crack JEE. It is old college with good reputation for higher studies and job. Living in hostel is not mandatory but preferable.

ECE degree has wide scope as ECE engineering graduates can be employed by electronics, telecommunications and IT industries. Aeronautical engineering is a niche branch with limited scope on aviation. Both, ECE and aeronautical engineering branches are highly technical and full of innovation.
You can chose any based on your interests. You can also do B.Tech in ECE followed by M.Tech in aeronautical engineering with specialization in avionics.
