(f) Independent consultant after experience in field mentioned above.

Hello Bharath,
As I am a Diploma in EEE student, I would suggest, you should opt for a Diploma course. Even the fee structure is less and if you do engineering it adds a greater value of your certification.
If you have better communication skills, you will get placed in a good MNC after the completion of your couse, but it is up to your skills.
Coming to the government jobs if you choose ECE then you can apply for BSNL (junior engineer) post after your Diploma which has intake every year. SSC (staff selection commission) will every year announce the open positions for the post of junior engineer. The announcement is made in the month of October-November.
If you join in a reputed college, you can get good placements too.
