Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Government of Tamil Nadu or any other Examination accepted by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto, with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.

The bare minimum IPE markers cannot be used to merely express one number. However, 980+ is a sure thing. You are safe and have a chance of admission to SASTRA University if your percentile is higher than 95 percentile. The foundational disciplines, like CSE, ECE, and mech, are what you desire. Without a doubt, the percentile should range from 95 to 98. Then and only then do you stand a chance of getting a respectable branch. If your percentile is high let's say, over the 95th percentile you don't need any IPE markings at all. Numerous times, applicants with 930 IPE marks and high JEE Mains scores have been offered seats.
