Hi Akshay,
Most colleges have a different provision for admission. You need to contact the institute officials personally for specific admission details as it differs from one college to another.
Hope this information helps. Please feel free to revert.
Wish you luck.

Sumit, last date for applying this year is over which means you need to drop this year.
Dropping an year is not advisable. Better would be apply for admission to some good university.
Most of the private universities these days offer you admission either on basis of LEET or direct admission on the basis of your marks in Diploma. They offer world class environment to students along with good placements. Some even offer good scholarships to students. Check their websites.
Good luck.

If your diploma course in engineering is recognised by the state council for technical education and AICTE and is considered equivalent to a polytechnic diploma then I don't think there is any problem. You are eligible for junior engineer's post. All the best.

Hello dear, look there are colleges which are good in placement as well as faculty. But before that you should be sure in which city you want to study. According to that one can decide about the college.
