You can't get lateral entry for B.Tech after B.Sc for lateral entry only Diploma holders can apply.

There is no lateral entry for 2nd year B.Tech after completing B.Sc. You have to do Diploma in engineering for lateral entry in engineering graduation.

To get the admission through lateral entry for B.Tech in CSE, Diploma in tool and die making diploma is not eligible. Please refer to-

Having a post graduate degree will always opens new avenues and better opportunities in career path. Further, nowadays opportunities in Computer Science are flourishing year by year. So, I strongly advise you to pursue your MCA as a lateral entry student after completion of BCA.

You are eligible for taking the admission in B.Tech II year. First, it should clear that which college or university you want to take the admission. Because, many universities conduct the Entrance examination or on the basis of JEE-Mains Score card. If you have not given any entrance exam or not qualified the JEE-Mains exam yet you can take the admission on the percentage basis in class 12th Exam.
