As part of the preparation process for the Physics section of SRMJEEE exam, it is imperative to meticulously review the entire syllabus and compile a comprehensive list of key chapters essential for thorough examination coverage. A crucial area that demands meticulous preparation is modern physics. Additionally, optics, particularly Huygens's principle, holds significant importance and is widely favored. Experts recommend delving into HC Verma's The Concept of Physics as a means of preparation. Notably, chapters on Gravitation, Mechanics, Current Electricity, Magnetics, and Waves carry substantial weightage in terms of marks. It is highly advisable to conduct a thorough review of fundamental concepts within these chapters.

To prepare well for the Mathematics section of SRMJEEE, it's essential to have a good timetable, a calm mind, and a proper preparation strategy. It's important to understand the significance of each topic or chapter and practice regularly from recommended books to improve speed and efficiency. Focus on key concepts such as calculus, algebra, probability, permutation and combination, trigonometry, sequence and series, etc. Make separate notes for formulas, theories, and equations as they will be useful during revisions. Take a proper break after each study session. Remember, revision is the key to success. The more questions you practice, the faster and more accurate you will become.

Class 12 marks are also cosidered forSRM BTech admisison a candidate must have a minimum of 60% aggregate (3 subjects) in Physics (mandatory) , Mathematics (mandatory) and at least one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Information Technology / Informatics Practices / Engineering Graphics / Botany and (or) Zoology as major subjects in regular subjects in regular stream from any board within India , CBSE , ISCE , Matriculation , IB or NIOS.

However, SRMJEEE scores are madatory for admission. A candidates scoring well in SRMJEEE but not satisfying the minimum marks requirement of class 12 will not be considered for admission.
