The Jute and Fiber Technology course basically lays emphasis on the Science, Engineering, and technological aspects of natural fibers, particularly jute. Jute, derived from the jute plant, is a versatile fiber widely used in the production of various products for daily use.
The course has subjects related to jute fiber properties, textile technology, processing methods, quality control, and product development that give you knowledge of the sustainable and environment-friendly features and its applications in textiles, packaging, and other work industries.

In the JEE Mains 2024 exam, a score of at least 125 to 135 marks is required to make it to the 95+ percentile list. Therefore,  aim for a score of 145 to 155 marks while practicing the test series. To achieve this, you need to have a deep understanding of at least 35 to 40 topics in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
