MHT CET 2026 Mock Test: The Maharashtra CET Cell will release the official MHT CET mock test 2026 at cetcell.mahacet.org. The direct link for MHT CET mock test for both PCM and PCB will be updated on this page. The mock test will be based on the exam pattern & the MHT CET syllabus 2026. Candidates can access the MHT CET 2026 mock test for free to enhance their speed and accuracy.

Students preparing for MHT CET 2026 are advised to solve mock tests regularly to get an idea of their exam preparation and the marks they will be scoring. As the difficulty level of MHT CET is similar to JEE Main, candidates can also practice JEE Main sample papers and mock test to prepare for exam. The MHT CET exam date 2026 for April is April 11 to 26, for both PCM and PCB groups and for the second attempt, it is May 10 to 17, for both groups.

  • Click the check box and click on the 'Next' button.
  • If you're ready to take the test, click on 'I am ready to begin'.

Q:   What is the best way to attempt the MHT CET mock test?

Candidates should take the MHT CET mock test in a time-bound manner within a simulated environment. Ieally students should take the mock test within the exam duration 9 am to 12 noon or 3 PM to 6 PM, without any break. This will help adjust to the exam-taking environment. It must also be ensured that they take the test in a quite environment either alone or with a group of fellow MHT CET aspirants. Creating a simulated test-taking experience is important. While a number of students take the MHT CET mock tests at coaching institutes, some prefer to take it at their home. Q:   Should I opt for sectional or full-length mock test for MHT CET?

During the preparation period of MHT CET sectional mock tests are useful. The sectional mock tests have to be taken after completing the chapter of any subject. This would help you to gauge your preparation level and also help in understanding the areas of improvement. Once the entire MHT CET syllabus is completed, you should take full-length mock tests to assess the entire preparation. Generally, students tend to take the MHT CET mock tests three to four months prior to the exam. Hence, when it comes to the final stage of preparation, ideally students should take full-length mock tests. However, if a student wants to revise a particular section or subject, then it is advisable that they take sectional mock tests or revision or practice purpose.

Frequency of taking MHT CET mock test depends on days remaining before test. When there are 3-4 months before exam, take mock tests twice a week and use rest of days for analysis and preparation. In the last month before MHT CET, the frequency of taking mock tests would increase. They are expected to take a full-length mock test every alternate day. Students should get mock tests analyzed by their mentors to improve their performance and to create the exam-taking strategy.

Q:   How can I prepare for MHT CET without coaching?
A: 

Taking help of coaching is not necessarily required for clearing the MHT CET exam. Many students score good marks in MHT CET by self-studying, without help from coaching. To crack MHT CET without coaching, students need to make a study plan considering the time they have before exam.

Students can take help of online tutorials and videos from previous year toppers who have cleared the exam without coaching to understand their strategy. One thing that is required when students are not taking coaching is regular study.

Make a daily time table of study and devote at least 5-6 hours for MHT CET preparation. Students who are in class 11 or 12 can give 3-4 hours specifically for CET beside school studies. Students who have passed class 12 should also study at least 6 hours daily.

Q:   Is MHT CET syllabus similar to the syllabus of Maharashtra board class 11 and 12?

The syllabus of MHT CET is not similar to the Maharashtra Board class 11 and 12. Only a few chapters of Class 11 are covered in MHT CET syllabus. However, the entire class 12 syllabus is part of MHT CET syllabus. Also, the dificulty level of MHT CET is similar to JEE Mains.
