Yes, you are eligible but you need to score a good rank in GATE for colleges like IIT & NIT. For BITS, there is a separate entrance exam for M.Tech.

You can contact college authorities regarding it. Nowadays college don't take original certificates. If they are not giving certificates, better to apply for duplicate ones from school. Not to go for legal action as it may take long time and other resources as time. Better to talk and find some way with college authorities.

Every branch has its own importance and need in society. I can prefer you some branch like Electronics, computer, Artificial intelligence, robotics which has bright future.
