LPU is a globally well-known university, and it is a good choice reason being they have good tie-ups with corporate houses, foreign universities, NGO's which are actually very important for networking and getting placed. Infrastructure is good too. You will find cultural diversity that will give you exposure. You would be meeting people from different countries and get to know about their culture, tradition which will help you to grow as a better person. In addition to this, the scholarship is also given to meritorious students.

A student from Science background can study MBA. The course in more about management. Science students find it a little hard due to lack of accounts knowledge but with hard work anyone can overcome problems. Since you have technical skills I will advise you to go for MBA because management knowledge will add a star to your resume. Rest depends on what kind of job you prefer.

Both the courses are good. It depends on your area of interest. If you go with M.Tech, then it will be completely technical field and growth is good in this field. If you choose MBA, then your field will change to management and career would be related to IT analyst. MBA is more useful after gaining some work experience.
