It's good to have a decent knowledge of the courses taught in classes but what happens if in a job interview there is a tie between two guys and of them one is who had knowledge of supposedly, MATLAB (or some other platform with a decent coding) or say has good knowledge of Any cad Software, that too certified from a good and reputed place. I think you get the point. Ever heard, "All dots are connected". See, the technical knowledge apart from the one that is taught in the mainstream class shall definitely be helpful in every field, be it research or job perspective.

All India Council Of Technical Education also known as AICTE and University grant commission (UGC) are two main bodies which recognise and affiliate institutions in the country. The best companies visit the campus for interview and shortlist the candidate as per the company standards. Brands like Adani, Birla group, Reliance, ONGC and other companies come for placements. Students from the batch of metallurgical engineering like Jindal Powers and other companies offer an average of 25 Lacs to the candidates. Overall career development is done. Reliance Power, ONGC, Jindal, Adani, Birla, NTPC, etc. Are major recruiting agencies for the metallurgical branch. Rest, there are automotive companies visiting.
