Yes, it is quite safe for a girl to study in NIT Patna. Make sure you avail hostel facilities rather than living outside.

Both are very good if scope is the factor. Choose the course which fascinates you the most. I would recommend choosing Data Science.

In first one, every subject of CSE like Operating System, Networks will be taught to you. But, in other one courses specific to cloud computing technology will be taught.

Choose Thapar with Mechanical branch which will be worthwhile than the other two colleges. Best wishes.

Which college in Dhanbad for Civil?
Aerospace is a much better course than civil engineering.
But if you got alloted to IIT Dhanbad - then go for IIT (Civil).
The scope of IIT passout is much higher than IIST.
