When you study CS, there are various algorithms for which you have to have a good understanding of concepts like permutations and combinations, matrices, probability etc. that's why they ask for the subject. If they have asked for it then nothing can be done. You should have gone through the prospectus/ brochure of this course beforehand.

You should give improvement exams than do JEE entrance exam or other exams like IPU CET to get seat on the government college.
