Aeronautical is where you study the various forces that act on an airborne vehicle in the Earths atmosphere. Also, do note the point that nautical is a term used to measure the speed of the wind. So, aeronautical deals with various forces in detail which act on a vehicle which is airborne. Mostly, you can see that only three dimensional forces act on an aeroplane. Hence we mostly will be considering the parameters in three dimensions. Aerospace is where you get to study aeronautical first and space next. Space doesn't have an atmosphere like Earth which has drag, viscosity, density, so on and so forth. But in space, you encounter altogether different forces acting upon a vehicle. The intense heat blasts that occur on sun. So, here you have to study with not just three dimensions, but many. It might sound a little frightening but get into a course only if you have the imagination that is required to have 10 variables playing with your number simultaneously.
