I would recommend CSE from Jaypee as placements and infrastructure are far better than MIT, Pune.

Hi Syed,
The fundamental differences between B.Tech Computer Science & B.Tech Information Technology is that computer science branch emphasises on the development of software by using different programming tool, whereas, information technology focuses on which software tool.
Best B.institutes for B.Tech in CSE:
1. Andhra University, college of Engineering.
2. GMR Institute of Technology

First of all, admission in IIT is based on your JEE Advanced rank, not on the basis of the JEE Mains score. Second thing is that if your SC rank is below 10-12K, then you may get a seat in NIT or in GFTI.

With 88 percentile, it's not possible for you to get admission in any of the NITs or top government colleges. So, it's better to go with private Institutes. As you see in NITs, the seats are less than 600, for a student whose AIR is more than 10K cannot get admission in any of the NITs.

For this, you must go for Madhya Pradesh counselling based on JEE Mains. After that, you need to verify your documents and then you will get a chance to fill colleges of your choice. Once you satisfy the college cut-off rank then you will be able to get college. For SGSITS, you must have 50-70K rank in JEE Mains so that you will have a higher chance of getting SGSITS.
