The GATE 2025 Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DA) examination will be conducted on February 15, 2025 (9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.). The total weightage of the GATE chemistry paper syllabus is as follows -

  • Core GATE chemistry paper - 85%

  • General Aptitude  - 15%

Yes, of course. You can join Lucknow Institute of Technology (LIT) for M.Tech also without attending GATE. M.Tech entry into LIT is UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination) as well. Depending upon the seat availability and eligibility, there is institutional counseling to facilitate entry. GATE-qualified candidates get priority for scholarships and other preferences. There is also a scope for a student, who hasn't qualified under GATE, to apply to the college considering the academic performance along with an entrance examination conducted by that institute or even a state-level entrance examination. IIT Roorkee has announced the GATE 2025 exam dates on the official website - gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The exam will be held on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025 in two sessions. The GATE aerospace engineering (AE) paper will be conducted on February 15, 2025 (9:30 am to 12:30 pm). Yes, you can join the M.Tech programme at Shri Siddhi Vinayak Group of Institutions (SSVGI) without GATE. While GATE scores are basically accepted for admission, candidates who have completed an M.Sc. in relevant fields or an MCA with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) are also eligible to apply. Thus, alternative qualifications may allow admission without a GATE score.

The following is the syllabus for GATE 2025:-

  1. General Aptitude:- This is common for all papers of GATE. It accounts for 15 marks and include Verbal Aptitude, Quantitative Aptitude, Analytical Aptitude, Spatial Aptitude. 
  2. Paper specific syllabus:- This includes questions for the subject you are applying for. This accounts for 85 marks and include computer Science and IT, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, Instrumentation engineering, Machenical Engineering etc. 
  3. Two paper combinations:- This allows the candidates to appear in two papers according to some predefined combinations.
