Yes, you can join the M.Tech programme at Shri Siddhi Vinayak Group of Institutions (SSVGI) without GATE. While GATE scores are basically accepted for admission, candidates who have completed an M.Sc. in relevant fields or an MCA with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) are also eligible to apply. Thus, alternative qualifications may allow admission without a GATE score.

The following is the syllabus for GATE 2025:-
- General Aptitude:- This is common for all papers of GATE. It accounts for 15 marks and include Verbal Aptitude, Quantitative Aptitude, Analytical Aptitude, Spatial Aptitude.
- Paper specific syllabus:- This includes questions for the subject you are applying for. This accounts for 85 marks and include computer Science and IT, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, Instrumentation engineering, Machenical Engineering etc.
- Two paper combinations:- This allows the candidates to appear in two papers according to some predefined combinations.

The GATE 2025 examination will be conducted in two sessions on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. The GATE 2025 Chemical Engineering exam will be conducted on February 16, 2025 (9:30 am to 12:30 pm). Candidates can also check the schedule of their papers on the GATE 2025 admit card or on the website.
