You can apply for September intake in Germany from early March 2025. Check the deadline of the universities you want to study in and apply at least a month before your deadline. Don't delay in replying to university emails.

It starts in September / October and ends in February / March. All the Universities in Germany offer a large number of courses for Winter Intake. For most Universities, the application deadline will fall in mid-July for Winter (September Intake).

For the summer intake in Germany, it is advisable to apply at least six months before the semester begins. Usually, the summer semester starts in April, so applications should be submitted by October of the previous year.

Hi Ashish, Universities in Germany are often funded by the state but not necessarily regulated by it. So every university decides its own eligibility criteria and cut-off. Hence, it is advisable to check the university website for the specific programs eligibility criteria. I believe, the best answer to your question can be found here:

1. Clear IIT-JEE Main and Advanced
2. Spend a year at a university in India
3. Do Studienkolleg
After that, you need to pass TestDaf up to level c2 to prove your knowledge of German language. The requirements of your respective field can be found on the website of the university.
