Yes, Indian students are eligible for DAAD scholarships. However, there is a fixed number of scholarships for Indians and to get them eligible students have to apply early. Make sure, you fulfill the eligibility criteria at the time of apply for scholarship.

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) awards prize to an international student every year. There is a deadline for this prize. This prize is awarded to outstanding international students who have distinguished themselves not only through exceptional academic achievements but also through their outstanding social and intercultural commitment. Note that this is not a research award. To receive this award, students must be enrolled at TU Berlin University in the second or third year of their Bachelor's degree or at least in the second semester of their Master's degree. DAAD motivation letter should ideally be around 1000 to 1200 words, which is about 1 to 2 pages.

The standard formula works here too:
- Margins: 2.5 cm, or one inch, on all sides.
- Font size: 11- or 12-point of a standard script like Times New Roman or Arial.
- Line spacing: 1.5-point.
- Text alignment: justified (text is aligned with both margins).

LOM is of prime importance when applying for DAAD scholarship. The quality of the LOM has a bearing on the decision for scholarship and it is also discussed thoroughly during the interview.

DAAD does not provide samples for motivation letter. There can be specifications that the applicant needs to adhere to while writing DAAD motivation letter.

The DAAD scholarship is a financial aid offered by the German Academic Exchange Service, primarily to PG, Doctorate & PhD students, keen on studying & pursuing research in Germany,
Yes, Indian students are eligible to apply for the DAAD scholarship.
However, Indian students have a very limited number of slots available to them, therefore interested applicants are advised to apply early.
