You can apply for September intake in Germany from early March 2025. Check the deadline of the universities you want to study in and apply at least a month before your deadline. Don't delay in replying to university emails.

Public universities in Germany are largely state-funded and do not require students to pay tuition fees, but only an administration fee as part of the admission process. Hence, the MBBS in Germany for Indian students fees is zero at most of the universities.
However, MBBS fees in Germany at some universities are around INR 25 L for the first year. Currently, MBBS courses are only available across public universities in Germany. Hence, international students would require an understanding of the German language to apply to the university. Below are the annual fee requirements of top MBBS universities in Germany:
University | Annual Tuition Cost |
|---|---|

Berlin has a moderate crime index of approximately 44.66, meaning it is a relatively safe city to reside in. Neighborhoods like Mitte, Charlottenhurg, and Prenzlaur Berg are considered especially safe since they are usually either heavily policed or have a generally low crime rate.
A resident of Berlin is more likely to experience petty theft or vandalism rather than violent crimes. It is advised to avoid neighborhoods like Leopoldplatz, Görlitzer Park, or Alexanderplatz, especially at night, as these areas have a higher crime rate.

Absolutely. The semester fee charged by German universities comes with a bunch of advantages, one of which includes student transportation passes for unlimited use within certain zones (AB/ABC) and at times, outside. Students are advised to reach out to their university's student services or the AStA (Allgemeiner Studierendenausschuss) to gain more insights on the semester ticket included in their semester fees.
Other options to commute include public transport like S-Bahn, U-Bahn, trams, and buses.
