Dear Roopesh,
You do not need to take GMAT exam for admission in an Australian University for MBA, you need to take your IELTS and get an overall score of 6.5 with no band less than 6. You will need a pass percentage of above 65% in your UG and the exact cut off will depend on the university in which you are applying. Some may also require you to have a work experience of at least 3 years after your studies. However, the majority of the universities offer an MBA for overseas students (fresher) so the work experience should not be a problem. Please ensure that you enrol in a 2-year course and not for a 1-year course as you will not be el

Be it not for the exams, every second applicant would have been admitted which will lead to poor quality education. Imagine a class of around 10,000 students. Selection criteria and shortlisting is important to maintain education standards which in turn will lead to better career outcomes of the students. It also builds the credibility of the university in the market (that they admit good students and produce brilliance).

Hi Apoorva,
Your application process should start one year ahead of the intakes. Can you specify where you are planning to apply?

Hi Vinodh, for top universities across the world you should target a GMAT score of more than 700. The average GMAT is around 680. This is true for UK as well as US, Canada, Singapore, etc.

Hi Vinodh,
500 is considered to be a very less GMAT score, so there won't be any top colleges which could be interested to admit you, unless you have a very extraordinary profile such as awards, achievements, extra-curricular, etc.
What are you planning to study? I will advise you to refer to some ranking charts like QS and know the university ranking. You can visit the university websites for specific requirements.

Hi Pushkar,
If you are planning for MBA, you need to have work experience. Backlogs are not recommended for any top ranked B-School such as HEC but if your overall profile is outstanding then such failures can easily be surpassed. Please mention what you want to pursue.

You're required to have minimum 12 years of primary and secondary education and should have Senior Secondary Certificate of Education or an equivalent certificate from India.
You should apply to your desired universities. The university courses in Australia usually begin from early March so make sure that you start with the course and university searching a good 12-15 months prior to the submission of application forms.
Its recommended that application forms be submitted 8-12 months prior to the closing date of acceptance of application forms. Students have an option to download and print the application form from the university's offi
