GMAT is basically for those who are interested in going for MBA. GMAT is required for admission to most business schools.It is a computer-adaptive test. Its cost is $250
The structure of GMAT exam :
It has four sections :
1. Analytical Writing Assessment - Analysis of Argument (30 Minutes)
2. Integrated Reasoning- Multi-Source Reasoning, Graphics Interpretation, Two-Part Analysis, Table Analysis(30 Minutes)
3. Quantitative- Problem Solving, Data Sufficiency (75 Minutes)
4. Verbal- Reading Comprehension, Critical Reasoning, Sentence Correction(75 Minutes) GMAT verbal puts more emphasis on grammar, logic and reasoning skills.

I have total 3 years and 6 months of experience as a Agent level not in Managerial level. completed Graduation( BBA) in 2012from Sikkim Manipal university. so for admission in IIFT, what is the criteria means the GMAT score and etc etc.?

Hi Abhishek,
No cut-offs are mentioned. Like any top business school they evaluate profiles holistically. The average GMAT of students admitted is usually around 703. Good Luck.

NMIMS accepts only NMAT score. The cutoff for the same varies from year to year. IT generally hovers around 208 marks with sectional cutoffs as well.
The specializations offered are Finance, Marketing, Operations, HR, IT.

Talking about MAT and CAT
MAT and CAT are entrance examinations for admission in management school. There are several institutes which accept both.
CAT is difficult as compared to MAT. MAT is the easier version.
Course wise there is no difference in the syllabus of two, only the level of questions are different. Questions in CAT are much difficult from those of MAT. CAT is conducted once every year and MAT is conducted four times in a year

Hi, these cut offs along with the sectional cut offs mentioned on our website(www.spjimr.org) are mandatory for admission into the course.

GMAT is must to get a good college, score above 550 makes your way easy. As per my concern you should go for Canada because of affordable fee. Otherwise US is best because there are number of best colleges.

Sainath, GMAT score and XAT scores are not to be used together. Only one of these is to be evaluated - Your GMAT score of 700 will provide you with better opportunity than XAT score of 80 percentile. You will be eligible with your GMAT score.
