If you are applying to USA you may be required to take the GRE depending on the university's admission requirements. GMAT is mainly for MBA. IELTS or TOEFL for English language requirement is required. I would advice you to visit these university websites and check the specific admission requirements.

There is no last date for GMAT registration, its a real time online process schedule your test when ready, you can register a day before the test too. But always have a plan. When you take the test you can select university names you want to report your scores to. You will be allowed to report your scores to five universities for free. So, when your scores are out the universities will receive your scores. You will find details on MBA.com, register here.

You do not need to take GMAT exam for admission in an Australian University for MBA, you need to take your IELTS and get an overall score of 6.5 with no band less than 6. You will need a pass percentage of above 65% in your UG and the exact cut off will depend on the university in which you are applying. Some may also require you to have a work experience of at least 3 years after your studies. However, the majority of the universities offer an MBA for overseas students (fresher) so the work experience should not be a problem.
