Hi Suhas,
GMAT is a test required for admissions in MBA programs abroad. To appear for the GMAT there is no eligibility criteria neither is work experience required. However you need those for MBA itself, atleast 2 years work experience is required, good academic records including GMAT and TOEFL/IELTS scores. Hope this helps. All the best for your GMAT.

Some people are comfortable taking their time with self-study, while others need a more guided approach, whether it's live or via canned materials (books, videos, etc.). Remember that the GMAT is one of the few things under every applicant's control by the time you've graduated college, so it's an incredibly competitive benchmark.
One important note: on average, students who focus primarily on practice problems improve by about 20 points before hitting a plateau (according to our David Kuntz, Knewton's VP of Research, who helped develop the original GMAT algorithm.) Unfort

A factual analysis, mock tests do predict your standing but the actual difference is not much. You need to work really hard if you are targeting 740 from 690. Though not impossible but it is not easily achievable. Comparatively, GRE is slightly easier than GMAT. May I ask you if you are preparing for MBA?

Hello
he GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) is a 3½-hour standardized exam designed to predict how test takers will perform academically in MBA (Masters in Business Administration) programs. GMAT scores are used by graduate business schools to make admission decisions.
You might sometimes see the GMAT referred to as the GMAT CAT. The acronym CAT stands for Computer Adaptive Test. Actually, only two of the exam's four sections (Quantitative and Verbal) are computer-adaptive, meaning that during those sections only the test adapts to your ability level as you go.
Hope this helps you.
thanks
Best of luck

MAT is an mba entrance exam to get admission into mba/pgdm inside the country while GMAT is an mba entrance test to get admission abroad.
The validity of MAT score card is 1 year while the validity of GMAT score card is 5 years. The minimum eligibility criteria for GMAT is 50% in graduation with no age bar while there is no such criteria in MAT. you need a bachelor's degree.
