Basic GNM is the most popular among all the GNM specializations. It is a bachelor's degree programme and is the most common type of GNM in India. Other popular GNM specializations include Post-Basic GNM, ANM, Obstetrics & Gynecology Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing, and Paediatric Nursing.

To get admission to a government college of GNM Nursing program, you can apply through the state-level entrance exam or directly to your desired college. However, you'll need to fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the college.

No, GNM is a 3-year-long Diploma programme and there's no way you can complete it in 6 months or less. Additionally, this course also includes a 6-month mandatory internship as the part of the program.

To get admitted to a GNM Training School in Bathinda, you need to have passed your 10+2 examination with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English, with a minimum of 40% marks, and be between 17 and 35 years old at the time of admission.
