Hello, the GNM course duration is 3.5 years. Under this, the first 3 years are dedicated to studies along with 6 months compulsory internship. GNM is a Diploma course. Internships enhance the chance for students to refine their nursing skills and experience and get better job opportunities.

Of course, the GNM Nursing course is recognised by the INC (Indian Nursing Council), i.e., the supreme body of the Nursing fraternity in India. However, some top government institutes have discontinued the course, so check out the name of the INC-approved GNM schools before getting admission.
