Admission to General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course at Mata Kaushalya Government Hospital is on the basis of marks secured by the candidate in 12th class and not through a different entrance test. The candidate should have passed 10+2 with English and obtained a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination. Science stream is preferred but not compulsory. It is mostly merit-based based on qualifying exam marks, and candidates belonging to recognized boards such as State Open School and NIOS are also eligible. There is no separate entrance test taken for admission to GNM here.
