Pursuing GNM with an Arts background:

1. Check eligibility criteria (age, 10+2 qualification).

2. Consider a Science bridge course or pre-nursing course.

3. Look for GNM programs with built-in Science prerequisites.

Confirm requirements with nursing colleges/universities and check Indian Nursing Council guidelines.

GNM is a Diploma programme in General Nursing and Midwifery focused on direct patient care and Nursing and Midwifery services, whereas, the BMLT stands for Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology intended to train students to perform lab tests and analyses. While BMLT professionals work primarily in labs analyzing samples to assist in diagnosis, GNM Nurses work directly with patients.
